Canada: Smokless Cigarettes Hit The Market !

Wow, Faux - bacco Cigarettes, whats next? Inflatable Women?

SMOKELESS BUZZU.S. entrepreneur Ron Macdonald hopes his 'faux-bacco' electronic cigarettes will help those jonesing for a nicotine fix in the new world of smoke-free barsMisty Harris, Canwest News ServicePublished: Thursday, June 12, 2008

Where there's smoke there's not always fire thanks to a high-tech twist on cigarettes that's being used by Canadians hoping to dodge widespread smoking bans.

Electronic cigarettes are what you might call faux-bacco: the "smoke" exhaled by users of the battery-powered butts is actually a near-odourless water vapour, while the "cigarette" - which glows red at the end when someone takes a drag - contains no tobacco.

The rechargeable nicotine delivery devices, which a company spokesman says are being bought by Canadians "daily," are marketed as a way of satisfying cravings in places where smoking is prohibited.

The best thing about those cigarettes is the fact that they contain nicotine, but NO TOBACCO, tars, etc. That means smoking bans, smoke-free zones and anti-smoking laws are rendered null and void when it comes to those electronic cigarettes, cigars and pipes. The company mentioned in that article is Crown Seven out of Scottsdale, Ariz.
